The Crafting Corner: Gamma Love Jars!

Happy Thursday! November is the month of Thanksgiving, and I think handmade crafts are a really cute and meaningful way to give thanks and show your love for your big, your little, or any sister at all! This craft is simple, but probably one of the most special to give: a gamma love jar!

You’ll need: a mason jarpaint, ribbon, mod podge, a pen, a paint brush, and popsicle sticks.

Decorate the jar however you want to. When I make these, I typically paint the lid or mod podge glitter onto it, but you can paint the inside of the jar or personalize it however you want to. Just make sure to seal any artwork with mod podge when you’re done so it doesn’t chip. I also like to tie a ribbon around the top of the jar, so it looks more like a gift.

Then, write love notes on the popsicle sticks. You can write whatever you want: inspirational quotes, complements, words of encouragement, or reasons you love your sister. Fill the jar with these popsicle sticks.

Any time your sister needs a pick-me-up or a reminder that she’s a wonderful person, she can pick a random stick from the jar. Instant smiles for as long as they last 🙂

Have a great week and enjoy this simple but special craft!

Gamma Love,
Jessica J.
