Le’Cinda pledged Gamma Sigma Sigma in spring of 1999, Alpha Lambda. She had attended a rush the year before but was unsure if she had the time to commit. However, her roommate encouraged her to attend, and she fell in love with Gamma Sig! Two of Le’Cinda’s best friends are members of the sorority, as well, one of which is her grand-little.
When asked what “unity in service” means to her, she said, “it means that whenever I meet another Gamma Sig member, there is already a common bond…We all may have had different journeys that brought us to Gamma Sigma Sigma, but ultimately we have a passion to serve.”
In 2011, she was appointed as Beta Gamma’s chapter consultant. Since then, she has served on the national’s program committee and is currently the sorority’s awards chair. One of her greatest accomplishments, she says is, “being one of the founding members of Delaware Diamonds Alumni Chapter.” As a sister and chapter consultant, Le’Cinda is someone we should aspire to as we serve our community as Gamma Sigma Sigma’s Beta Gamma chapter.
Thank you Le’Cinda for representing our beta gamma chapter so well, we truly appreciate all your help!
Enjoy your week everyone!
