Beta Gamma Sisters smile and display the Gamma Sigma Sigma symbol in the Cape Henlopen State Park.
Last weekend, GSS Beta Gamma Sisters traveled to Cape Henlopen, Delaware for their annual Cape service trip. The overnight service project features fun in the sun and sand along with cleaning cabins for the state park’s summer staff and life gaurds.
“The Cape trip was some of the most fun I’ve had as a sister in Gamma Sig. I loved spending time with my sisters exploring the park and taking lots of photos on the beach. The service project was also a great way to end the trip! I would definitely go back and do it all over again!” -Jillian Honaker, Beta Mu

“I loved the car ride down, it took about 1.5 hours but it was so much fun to just jam out with my fellow sisters to T. Swift and the Jonas Brothers. While at Cape, one of my favorite things was playing Quelf, a super fun board game that makes you do crazy things! The project was also super fun and it was great to hear the people who work at Cape Henlopen express their gratitude and we were able to see how much we were actually helping them. They are super dependent on volunteers like us and it’s nice to see the impact we can have. The project was super fun and we got to clean up a dorm room for their upcoming summer staff and got 4 hours for it. Overall, it was a fun trip full of bonding and service!” -Jess Jang, president, Beta Iota

“My favorite part of the trip was bonding with so many sisters and going to the beach! We got 4 hours of service for cleaning the dorm. I would definitely go again!” -Nina Davila, Beta Nu
