Yesterday, Gamma Sigma Sigma sisters participated in the 11th annual UDance marathon. The Beta Gamma chapter alone raised over $37,000 for childhood cancer research! Here are what some of our sisters had to say about UDance.
“My favorite part about UDance was spending the entire day with my family and seeing the enthusiasm of all of the sisters/all of UD for such an amazing cause!”- Sydney Hirsch, Beta Nu
“My favorite thing about UDance is spending 12 hours dancing with my amazing sisters for an incredible cause.” -Laura Testa, Beta Lambda
For the past three years, Gamma Sig has had the honor of adopting Morgan, a four year- old cancer survivor. After 4 rounds of chemotherapy and 3 surgeries Morgan was cancer free and has been recently placed in the survivorship program! This year, was Morgan’s third and final UDance. GSS will always be inspired by our amazing hero Morgan.
“Morgan is the sweetest, silliest, and most fashionable little girl I have ever met! Morgan & her beautiful family have made such an impact on my life and have taught me the importance of keeping a positive attitude always. I will forever be Morgan Kelly Tough.” -Sara Rutch, Beta Iota (UDance Rep 2015-17)
“…and when the dance is over and the last light is turned off in the Bob, please remember your work is helping a child in a quiet hospital room who is fighting for his or her life.” -Father of B+ Hero Leon
